WELCOME EVENT Adelaide Fringe
Since 2015, The Sick of The Fringe has worked inside the Edinburgh Fringe to build conversation, collaboration and community between the arts, health and medical science, bringing together artists, researchers, scientists, health professionals, writers and thinkers from across the globe. Alongside social events, advice sessions and support for artist wellbeing, The Sick of The Fringe works with writers to change the way we talk about health, creating more nuanced conversation about some of the world's most pressing issues.
The Sick of the Fringe comes to Adelaide in 2017.
You are invited to attend The Sick of The Fringe Welcome Event, an evening of performance, policy and provocation. The evening will feature:
Welcome speech from Professor Steve Wesselingh, Executive Director SAHMRI
Performances and Provocations featuring artist Brian Lobel (The Sick of The Fringe Co-Director, creator of Purge and You Have to Forgive Me), actor/presenter/physician Renee Lim (Please Like Me, Food Investigators) and an Anonymous Artist.
