Sage Nokomis Wright

Sage Nokomis Wright is the Managing Producer of Indigenous Contemporary Scene, Scotland 2019.  She is an Ojibwe-Anishinaabe/French/Scottish emerging producer, educator and activist based out of Montreal, Quebec.

Her piece about the Edinburgh Festival experience is made up of notes taken throughout August. It is a manifesto and a reminder of the importance of visibility and why it is all worth it. For herself, and those who may be in need of it.

These words are dedicated to Ningali Lawford-Wolf.
