Amar Hussein

Amar Hussein

Born in East London, the son of Pakistani immigrants, Amar has lived and worked in the UK all his life. Starting life as an entrepreneur importing goods into the UK, Amar’s path has been varied and for the last two decades he has worked as a Data Consultant for some of the biggest conglomerates in the UK.

Amar has a wanderlust and strongly believes that travel is an education for living and nurtures the soul. 

Masha Laszlo

Masha Laszlo

Masha is a theatre and drama studies student who spends her days working part-time on film shoots and as a model. She enjoys her university course as it challenges her in everything she likes being challenged in - writing scripts, devising theatre pieces and performing. In her free time she frequents art galleries, museums and cinemas. Her hobbies include watching films, collecting comics and later complaining about said films and comics.

Gini Simpson

Gini Simpson

Gini Simpson works with The Sick of the Fringe and Music in Detention. She has been working with socially engaged arts practice for over 25 years, across large scale and grassroots organisations. As a practitioner, she has performed at the Venice Biennial and showed the first ever interactive film at the Berlin Biennial.  When she’s not working with artists she works with mental health and civil rights groups.

Selen Adem

Selen Adem

Selen is a 20 year-old teaching assistant by day and university student by night. She describes herself as bubbly and free-spirited character from the middle of nowhere (Kent). Originally from South East London and North Cyprus Selen likes to go back to both of these places as often as she can and stay in touch with memorable pastimes.

She loves to act, perform and write as much as she can and fully immerses herself into the projects she works on. Being a ball of energy Selen won’t hesitate to express who she is to you and would most likely greet you with a loving hug. If you are a hugger, great! If not, Selen apologises immensely.

Hannah Maxwell

Hannah Maxwell

Hannah Maxwell is an artist and writer. She provides editorial assistance to academic and artistic publications, copywriting content for exhibitions and arts websites, and is developing her own text-based performance practice.

Túlio Rosa

Túlio Rosa

Túlio Rosa (Brazil, 1989) is an artist and researcher who works in the field of dance and choreography. Over the past years, he has been developing a line of work which seeks to connect issues emerging in the social and political fields with his artistic practice. Since 2015, his research is particularly concerned by the circulation of images of violence in the media and its impact on the body.
